Soul Foods India LLC (“Soul Foods India”, “we”, “us”) runs a vegetarian Indian food store, restaurant, catering service, online grocery store and event hall at 4681 Ohio Drive, Frisco, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our websites, call us, text with us or order from us, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and, for shipped grocery orders, your shipping address.
• Order details: the items you order, pickup time, order history and any notes you give us.
• Phone calls: your phone number (caller ID), a recording of the call and a written transcript.
• Text messages: your phone number, the messages we send you, your replies, and whether you agreed to receive texts or opted out.
• Catering and event inquiries: event date, guest count, event type and the details you share.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Website information: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies on our websites.

2. How we use your information

• To take, prepare and confirm your orders and tell you when they are ready.
• To send you payment links, order confirmations and order updates.
• To respond to catering, event hall and other questions, and to call you back when you ask us to.
• To improve our phone assistant, menu and service, for example by reviewing call recordings.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Our phone assistant and call recording

Calls to our store may be answered by an automated AI phone assistant. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can fulfil your order, follow up on your request and improve our service. The assistant tells you at the start of each call that the call may be recorded. If you would prefer to speak with a person, ask the assistant to connect you with our staff.

We keep call recordings and transcripts for 90 days, unless we need them longer to resolve a problem with an order.

4. Text messages (SMS)

When you place an order or ask for information by phone, we will ask whether we may text you. If you agree, we may send you:

• order confirmations with your items, total and pickup time;
• a secure payment link for your order;
• order status updates, such as payment received, order ready or order cancelled;
• a one-time link you asked for, such as our catering menu or event hall booking page.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies with your orders. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. We will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then no more. 5. How we share your information

We share information only with companies that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• payment processing and point of sale (Square);
• phone calls and text messaging (Twilio);
• speech-to-text, text-to-speech and AI services that power our phone assistant;
• email delivery, website hosting and cloud servers;
• shipping carriers, for online grocery orders.

These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

6. How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed for business, tax and accounting purposes. Call recordings are kept as described in section 3. Records of your text-message consent and opt-outs are kept as long as needed to honor your choices and meet legal requirements.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and secure hosting. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it.

8. Your choices

• Reply STOP to stop text messages.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@soulfoodsindia.com. We may need to keep some records, such as order and tax records, as required by law.
• Set your browser to refuse cookies. Some parts of our websites may not work without them.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
